Over 10,000 people have been interred in the cemetery. The cemetery has a chapel mausoleum called the Temple of Love Mausoleum that houses over 5,000 indoor crypt spaces. Irene M. Ciuffoletti, who was considered one of Pennsylvania's oldest resident (113) when she passed away in May of 2016 was laid to rest in Greenwood Memorial Cemetery. Over 4,000 officers attended the funeral for Lower Burrell, PA police officer Derek Kotecki on October 17, 2011, who was laid to rest in the Greenwood Memorial Park. Kotecki was a K-9 officer and an 18-year veteran of the Lower Burrell police force. Cremation memorialization and above ground entombment options are available at Greenwood Memorial Park, which is located about 30 miles northwest of Pittsburgh, serves residents of the Alle-Kiski Valley.
