Plum Creek Cemetery is located at the corner of New Texas and Center-New Texas Roads about 1 miles south of Plum Borough, PA in Allegheny County. The burial ground is situated about 20 miles east of downtown Pittsburgh, PA. The non-denominational cemetery address is 670 Center-New Texas Road in Pittsburgh, PA 15239. The 82 acre cemetery became a burial place in 1873. The cemetery is also know as Old Plum Creek Presbyterian and Ebenezer on the Pukety. On February 12, 1907, the Presbyterian Church of Plum Creek deeded the property to a non-profit organization. Plum Creek Cemetery is a non-profit corporation which was chartered in 1907. There are no stockholders, bondholders or any persons or corporation owning any interest in the cemetery except the lot owners themselves. The cemetery is managed by a Board of nine Trustees, all of whom are lot owners, and serve without compensation as a service for the benefit of all lot owners.
